- Either February 25th or
26th will
be the IKWF North Chicago Regional for all the Bison. Exact
date, time and location to be determined.
- Saturday March 3rd will be the
IKWF North Chicago Sectional for those Intermediate (8, 9 & 10), Novice
(10, 11 & 12) and Senior (12, 13 & 14) wrestlers only who progress from
the Regional the prior week. Time and location to be determined.
- Friday
March 9th and
Saturday March 10th is the IKWF Novice/Senior State Tournament
for the Novice and Senior wrestlers who progress from the Sectional on March 3rd.
Location will be the Rockford Metro Center
in Rockford, IL. Weigh
ins will be Thursday March 8th.
- Saturday March 17th and Sunday
March 18th is the Midget (a/k/a Intermediate) State
Tournament at the Palmer Arena in Danville,
IL. Weigh ins will be
Friday March 16th.
- Friday March 30th through Sunday
April 1st is the USAW Nationals at the University
of Northern Iowa in Cedar Fall, Iowa.
High school
wrestlers weigh in on Friday and compete on Friday and Saturday. Kids
(Bantam [7-8], Intermediate [9-10], Novice [11-12] and Schoolboy/girl [13-14])
weigh in Saturday morning and wrestle Saturday afternoon and Sunday
morning. Veterans (born 1987 and earlier) weigh in Saturday afternoon and
wrestle Sunday morning.
